Permeable Pavement Poured in Parking Lot
PRESIDIO OF MONTEREY, Calif. - A new parking lot adjacent to the Presidio of Monterey Dental Clinic is constructed using permeable pavement. This type of pavement helps keep polluted water from entering water bodies by allowing storm water to drain through the pavement into the ground below, where soil and microbes filter out and break down many pollutants.
