River recreation on the "Wild and Scenic" north Umpqua River
Outfitter-guides lead groups of white water rafting and kayaking enthusiasts towards Marsters Bridge on the north Umpqua River, located in the Umpqua National Forest (North Umpqua Ranger District) July 20, 2018. A 34-mile stretch of the river is designated for recreation under the federal Wild and Scenic River Act, which celebrates it's 50th anniversary this year.
