View from the “Prow” at Taliesin West, renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home and school in the desert outside Scottsdale, Arizona, from 1937 until his death in 1959.

Today it is the main campus of the School of Architecture at Taliesin and houses the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The Prow is a a triangular garden and lawn with geometric beds filled with native plants that extends out to the view that Wright called “standing on the rim of the world.” Open to the public for tours, Wright’s hillside studio and home drew its name from Wright's summer house, Taliesin, in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
