Every November, Laysan albatross return to the Hawaiian Islands and atolls to breed. Laysan albatross lay one egg a year and return to where they were born when it is time to nest.
Millions of albatrosses return from the sea each year to nest and raise their young on Midway Atoll. Many more arrivals will be coming the rest of November and most of the mōlī eggs will be laid in December.
