Aquatic Center & Eppes Recreation Ribbon Cutting
On Friday, June 3, the new Outdoor Aquatic Center and Eppes Recreation Center renovations were officially opened during a ribbon cutting ceremony.

 

The new 165,000-gallon pool replaces the previous community pool that had been in operation for 50 years, and adds six competition swim lanes, and 16-foot tall water slide, kids splash zone, zero-entry and other accessibility features, and 4000-square foot bath house. The Eppes Recreation Center renovations added a new entrance, lobby, and teen lounge, and provided updates to Police Athletic League after-school rooms and the C.M. Eppes Cultural and Heritage Center.
