2019 Military matters
With Weymouth central for all things Dorset, a short drive brought me here, to Whiteway Viewpoint, near Lulworth. There is a large military presence in the area, which is why nearby Tyneham was chosen as the village for army training.
Weymouth itself played a huge part in the D-day operation.
