Blickling Hall
I am back outside, and this is a fabulous building, the product of wealth and power beyond imagination.

This current structure was built in 1616 (architect Robert Lyminge) for Sir Henry Hobart. Generations later, it was acquired by William Kerr, Marquess of Lothian.

When the last Lothian died without heir, in 1940, it was bequeathed to the National Trust. It was used by the RAF during the War.

Clearly the NT are doing a fantastic job.
