Wellington Basin Reserve
Certainly a candidate for most beautiful cricket ground in the world. It is also, in effect, a huge traffic roundabout.
My Gullivers group was in the RA Vance stand, centre, where is was chilly out of the sun, even in warm weather. My friends from the Cricket Tour Company were in front of the Museum, at third man in the picture, and I spent time with them as well as here, on the lovely grassy bank.
