Conversion. Beverage containers to aviation oxygen cylinders. Four major welding operations are essential to the manufacture of shatterproof oxygen cylinders for high altitude flying. In the first, the circumferential straps are securely welded to the cylindrical portion to prevent tearing of the metal.
