Michael Du Mond, former gunshop proprietor in Wisconsin, came to Hartford in August to work at Colts at forty dollars a week, and has received several raises since. It took him four months to find a place for his wife and two children, namely a hotel apartment for sixty dollars a month, eating all meals out. Now they have a very hot small attic apartment, third floor, for thirty dollars a month, and no place for children to play. Hartford, Connecticut. Sourced from the Library of Congress.
