A curious old building that straddles the Nebraska-Wyoming border in Pine Bluffs, a small farming community that's 90 percent in Laramie County, Wyoming.
Newer street lights on the site hint that it might have been a combination gas station and sandwich-and-curio shop, or perhaps some sort of toll booth. This route, along present-day U.S. Highway 30, ran along the old Lincoln Highway, which had its share of roadside attractions geared to enticing drivers and their families off the two-lane road. This may have been part of one of those attractions.
