Pilots and support members of the U.S. Air Force, the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force and the Royal Australian Air Force participated in the two-week training event based at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Cope North is a multilateral aerial exercise, held once or twice yearly, designed to increase the combat readiness and interoperability of the three nations’ air forces and those of other Pacific partner nations.
