Through EQIP, NRCS worked with landowner, David Lyons, to restore this section of Moore Creek.

Stream now more closely resembles its historical streambed. As part of the stream restoration, local resources were harvested and used along the banks. Roughly 500 willows, trees and shrubs were planted for bank stabilization and habitat for wildlife. Additionally, old corrals were removed from the stream bank helping to prevent sediment entering the stream. The stream was also fenced to prevent livestock access except at designated points. Just south of Ennis, Madison County, MT. June 2020.
