NBSD Opens Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing

SAN DIEGO (Dec. 7, 2020) Hospitalman Thomas Martin, a Sailor assigned to Naval Base San Diego’s (NBSD) Branch Health Clinic’s (BHC) new coronavirus (COVID-19) drive-thru testing site (right), observes a patient self-administer an anterior swab for COVID-19 Dec. 7. NBSD’s BHC’s testing site is for active duty service members with referrals, and offers anterior swab testing. NMCSD’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
