Hangin' Out with my Chute Out
A reconnaissance Marine with 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, parachutes to the ground after a low-altitude static line jump Jan. 22. The Marines recently participated in both high and low-altitude sustainment jumps in order to stay proficient. "We would like to get everybody to that military free-fall capability because you can't hear the aircraft at that altitude; you can't hear the Marines open their chutes at that altitude," said Lt. Col. Robert Revoir, the commanding officer of 2nd Recon. "We would like to get everyone to that level."
