Waterfowl over Rice Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Minnesota
Hundreds of thousands of ducks, geese and swans have caused quite a stir! The National Weather Service in Duluth saw the bird activity on radar, initially thinking it could be a wildfire. Upon contacting the refuge the Weather Service learned that there were approximately 600,000 ducks, geese and swans in flight in the area!
