Botswana project nears completion
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District is wrapping up work on an exercise-related construction project at Thebephatshwa Air Base in Botswana. Pictured Sept. 25, the $424,000 facility consists of two buildings for administrative and training purposes, along with a latrine. It’s being managed in collaboration with U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Africa. The venture will support regional training deployments in Botswana for peacekeeping, partnership and humanitarian operational exercises. (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by Jack Galloway).
