National Bald Eagle Watch Month
Bald Eagles perched on a tree at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tioga-Hammond Lake. Pennsylvania is home to more than 271 nesting pairs of Bald Eagles, and many others that migrate over the winter season. A Mid-winter Bald Eagle Survey is coordinated in Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Game Commission and nationally by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
