Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003
BAGHDAD -- A convoy enters Baghdad April 26, 2003, at the end of its journey "jumping" the corps main command post from Camp Virginia, Kuwait to Camp Victory Camp on the outskirts of Baghdad. The trip involved more than 400 military vehicles and traveled more than 500 kilometers through combat, insurgent attacks and sandstorms to establish a new command post that resumed control of Army forces in the Iraqi theater of operations.
