Bridge over old dam site Starr Farrell
Colville National Forest staff and our partners, Seattle City Light and the Pend Oreille PUD, are proud to invite you to the Mill Pond Historic Site on the Newport and Sullivan Lake Ranger Districts. The former hydroelectric dam site features a new picnic pavilion, renovated picnic sites, and a parking area. A new trail system with 2 dramatic footbridges over Sullivan Creek, includes connections to Mill Pond Flume Trail #520 and Mill Pond Campground, as well as fishing access paths to Sullivan Creek.
