One of several Chinese ceramic theatre friezes at Taliesin West, renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home and school in the desert outside Scottsdale, Arizona, from 1937 until his death in 1959.

Today it is the main campus of the School of Architecture at Taliesin and houses the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Open to the public for tours, the hillside facility drew its name from Wright's summer home, Taliesin, in Spring Green, Wisconsin. The red tile at the bottom right is one of Wright’s “red squares,” his informal signature at several of his architectural creations. Original image from Carol M.
