Working Hard
An ironic title, as today I actually took the day off.
I had a few options to choose from today. I installed Windows 10 this morning, which isn't terrible. This is a good thing.
The car passed it's MOT, which really surprised me. It has something of a history of handbrake problems.
This photo comes from one of the theoretically failed elements of the day. I popped into town to try and see if I could get the lock replaced on my briefcase as it isn't working very well. Sadly the shop, as a one off, was shut today.
Then I went to the Phoenix Watch Company to ask about getting my watch serviced. Apparently this isn't necessary or particularly helpful with quartz watches, so that was cheap!
I headed back to the car via the Museum and St. John's Gardens. In the gardens there was a huge and fantastically aromatic patch of lavender.
It's testimony to the huge abundance of light that I managed to get this very credible shot from my phone. It was lovely to see a garden swimming with bees again. Original public domain image from Flickr
