This cheeky billboard advertising the old Mule Trading Post, a former stop for souvenirs along a surviving section of the old, two-lane U.S. Route 66 in Rolla, a small city in south-central Missouri, lost its effect in early 2021 when the attraction closed due to the effects of a nationwide (and worldwide) COVID-19 pandemic, which kept potential customers at home or wary of unknown places
