Excess Fuels are Piled on the Mustang Complex
Firefighters created burn piles of excess fuels on the Mustang Complex, North Fork Idaho, Salmon-Challis National Forest, in Idaho. Fuels management reduces the risk of wildfire through mechanical, chemical, biological, or manual means in support of land management goals.
