Camas National Wildlife Refuge is located in southeastern Idaho, 36 miles north of Idaho Falls at an elevation of about 4,800 feet.
The refuge provides vital habitat for a variety of migratory birds. About half of the refuge’s approximately 11,000 acres are lakes, ponds and marshlands. The remainder consists of grassland, sagebrush uplands and meadows.
