220401-N-PG226-1105 IONIAN SEA (April 1, 2022) An F/A-18E Super Hornet, attached to the “Blue Blasters” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 34, launches from the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), in support of Exercise INIOCHOS 22, April 1, 2022. INIOCHOS is the Hellenic Air Force's large scale aerial combat exercise in which participants conduct complex air missions such as offensive counter air operations, air defense operations, counter surface force operations including air power contribution to land operations and air power contribution to maritime operations and search & rescue in a combat environment. The Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Sixth Fleet area of operations in support of U.S., allied and partner interests in Europe and Africa.
