Police Chief Swearing In
Ted D. Sauls, Jr. was officially sworn in as Police Chief on Friday, November 4. Chief Sauls is a 26-year veteran of the Greenville Police Department, and has served as the Deputy Chief position for the last nine years. Sauls has held numerous roles within the Greenville Police Department during his career, including assignments in Field Operations, Investigations, and as the Emergency Response Team Commander.

 

"It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Ted Sauls as the new Police Chief for the Greenville Police Department," City Manager Ann E. Wall said. "Throughout his career, Chief Sauls has shown tremendous dedication to the department and the community. His experience and leadership will be pivotal in the department’s continued efforts to keep our community safe."
