Bicycle Rodeo (Nov 2020)
Greenville PD's Police Athletic League (PAL), GPD's Traffic Safety Unit, and Love A Sea Turtle teamed up to host a Bicycle Rodeo on Saturday, November 21. Participants without their own bicycle were able to have a new helmet fitted, chose a bicycle, and take it home with them after the event. Riders were taught how to safely ride a bicycle, use hand signals, and were able work on their riding skills on the safety course. Bicycles were provided by Love A Sea Turtle's Cyclast program, which repairs and refurbishes used bikes to give to families in need through events like the Bicycle Rodeo.
